Dalton recorded 11 property transfers between July 17 and August 15, but only three carried a disclosed sale price, ranging from $125,000 to $457,500 with a median of $411,750. The month's top transaction was 230 East Housatonic Street, which sold for $457,500 on July 21. Five of the 11 filings involved financial institutions as grantor or grantee, suggesting a notable share were mortgage recordings rather than home sales, and a Sunnyside Drive property changed hands four times, including a transfer to the Town of Dalton, before the period closed. With price data available for only about a quarter of filings, the raw count offers limited insight into overall market pace.
